What a great season! Tonight we met up with what could be the best #3 seed in the state. I’ve got to hand it to Dutch Fork; they were consistent, placed the ball, and hit with pace. They are going to be a team that really starts pushing for the same State Title that we will be chasing the next few years.

Our boys played their hearts out. Every season has to come to an end. Luckily for us, we are extremely young and have time to work hard so that we can extend the season by a few more matches with hard work this off-season. Dontrell Whetsell and Kordell Whetsell, our two seniors, will be very missed. They played their last matches in a Green Wave uniform tonight. Both boys left everything out on the courts.

The Wave finish their season with 14-9 record. They took 1st in Region 8AAAAA with a 6-0 Region record. We have a lot to celebrate, and a lot to look forward to as we move forward! Good luck to Dutch Fork as they move on to play Wando in the Lower State Semi-Finals.
